"Casting Down the Crown" 11" x 14" Luster Print
  • "Casting Down the Crown" 11" x 14" Luster Print

The concept behind this painting is based on Revelation 4:10-11 "The twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

In the image a woman is laying face down on the ground with her arms extended. She has casted down her crown before the Lord in surrender. The crown could be seen as her identity, will, or reputation.

This is a print on luster paper. The original painting was a 30" x 40", acrylic on canvas, and was painted during a Power and Love Conference in Dallas, TX. January, 2020.
