"The Quiver and The Queen", 40"x 48", oil on canvas

The Quiver and The Queen is a portait of my model, Eniola. In her hands she holds a book of poems. Behind her is a skyscape with french writing in the clouds. Areas of the painting are realistically painted, while other areas are abstracted or transparent. The canvas is wrapped on a handmade,1.5" gallery style strecher frame. My painting was created in 2015.
